Synopsis:
Sophie, a recent actuarial science graduate, and Alan, a graphic designer, are chosen as brand ambassadors for a cochlear implant (CI) awareness campaign. Having lost her hearing due to a childhood fever, Sophie underwent CI surgery at age ten under heavy pressure from her mother, who forced her into "Oralism" (relying strictly on spoken Cantonese and lip-reading while banning sign language).
