Synopsis 102 minutes:
Behind the Shadows is a 2025 Hong Kong crime thriller about a private investigator, Au Yeung Wai-yip, who is hired to investigate his own wife, only to become entangled in a series of murders of unfaithful women. The film follows his investigation into the murders as a police inspector, who has his own marital issues, closes in on him, all while he grapples with the unraveling of his own marriage and the blurring lines between his professional and personal life. The film stars Louis Koo as the private investigator and is set in Kuala Lumpur.
