故事大綱105 minutes:
1975年越共解放越南，日本記者芥川（林子祥飾）在峴港現場採訪當時實況。三年後芥川重遊舊地，認識了琴娘（馬斯晨飾）一家，並拍攝了不少珍貴照片。當地唯一被留下來的酒吧，由一位過氣媽媽生（繆騫人飾）主理，祖明（劉德華飾）既是她的情人，也是常客，正設法逃離越南，為了籌得更多錢，他襲擊芥川，想搶去他的相機不果而被捕。後來芥川與祖明成了朋友，他獲得特許送祖明到新經濟區挖地雷，但每天都有人在那裡遇上爆炸而無辜死去。芥川決定盡一切努力安排琴娘及其二弟逃離越南，祖明也決意登上難民船，投奔怒海……
