Synopsis 140 minutes:
The Volunteers: The Battle of Life and Death is a 2024 Chinese war film focusing on the intense Battle of Cheorwon (part of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea) in May 1951. The story follows the Chinese People's Volunteer Army's (CPVA) 63rd Army as they defend against four United Nations Army divisions in a fierce, bloody battle where their courageous fighting helps bring about peace negotiations.
