Synopsis :
The team behind the classic Once Upon a Time in China films, star Jet Li and director Tsui Hark, collaborate on The Master, a modern retelling of the Wong Fei Hung legend set in Los Angeles, California! Jet Li is a martial arts disciple who arrives in the United States to visit his master (Yuen Wah), who runs a small clinic named "Po Chi Lam". But there's trouble for the duo, as one of the master's former students decides to use his kung-fu powers for evil, and even trashes the clinic in the process. There's only one thing a good martial arts disciple can do...go after the offenders and take them down with righteous fury and a swift kick to the head! The Master affords Jet Li fans the opportunity to see their idol run rampant over Los Angeles dispensing justice to a passel of nefarious villains, including Billy Blanks of "Tae Bo" fame! Jet Li supplies his dynamic screen presence and martial arts athleticism, and Tsui Hark does all the rest in The Master!
